Patient Accounts

The fees charged in Sach Day Surgery are less than at metropolitan hospitals.

  • Please check your policy with your Health Fund before admission.
  • Patients who have an excess on their policy are required to pay this on admission.
  • Uninsured patients will be provided with full written quotes and are required to settle their account on admission.
  • Credit card facilities are available including Visa and Mastercard.

Accounts are dealt with in varying ways, you may receive an account from the Surgeon and/or the Anaesthetist. There may also be accounts rendered for pathology services. If this is the case, these accounts should be submitted to Medicare first and then to your Health Insurance Fund. Staff will explain this in detail prior to your operative procedure.
